From the Welfare Officer
Hello, I’m Rosie, a 2nd year studying French and History. I’m the JCR Welfare Officer, so I’m here to help you with any problems you may encounter throughout the year. I’ll be running regular ‘Welfare Teas’, but, if you ever need to talk about anything, you’re more than welcome to come for a chat anytime in my room (12.5 Grove quad), or give me a call. My number is up on posters in the JCR and Laundry Rooms, and you can contact me quickly using the contact form on this website.
I can also provide you with free welfare supplies – anything from condoms and lubricant to pregnancy tests and attack alarms. Furthermore, I can help put you in touch with more specialised help should you need it, such as doctors, GUM clinics or professional counsellors.
Peer Support & The Welfare Team
However, I’m far from being the only member of the welfare team! Lincoln offers you everything from Peer Supporters to LGBTQ Reps, help for international students and help with work, to Cookie Fairies – all there to make sure your time here is as great an experience as it should be. All the details are up in the JCR and the Laundry Room, and on your welfare pack from the start of term, but if you want a copy of their details, do just get in touch.
